A well-established heavy equipment dealership in New Brunswick is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to represent its construction equipment product line. This role is ideal for a motivated and customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and working directly with equipment owners and contractors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a designated sales territory, promoting both new and used equipment, and delivering solutions that meet customers’ operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell new and used construction equipment within the assigned sales territory.
  • Identify sales opportunities and generate leads through proactive prospecting and customer outreach.
  • Conduct sales calls and meetings with prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with an established client base.
  • Stay informed on equipment specifications, features, and industry trends.
  • Perform on-site equipment demonstrations for customers.
  • Appraise used equipment and assist with sourcing equipment when required.
  • Coordinate equipment transportation and delivery to customers.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in heavy equipment or construction equipment sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and develop effective equipment solutions.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close sales opportunities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when working with customers and colleagues.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment

This role involves a mix of office work, travel within the territory, trade show participation, and regular visits to customer locations. A company vehicle will be provided.
