Our client is a well-established and growing construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects. They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide strategic leadership across complex projects while supporting and mentoring project teams.

This is a key leadership role suited for a seasoned professional who can balance big-picture oversight with hands-on execution — ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive operational excellence from pre-construction through closeout.

The Role

  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture across all projects, setting expectations and leading by example.
  • Provide senior-level oversight of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution across multiple projects.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Oversee scope, quality, and performance standards to ensure alignment with organizational expectations.
  • Support estimating and pre-construction efforts, contributing to successful bids and project starts.
  • Monitor project risks, schedules, budgets, and key performance milestones.
  • Mentor and support Project Managers and field leadership, sharing best practices and supporting professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance systems, processes, and overall project delivery.
  • Split time between the office and job sites (approximately 75% office / 25% site).

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • PMP designation or active progress toward PMP is considered a strong asset.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects; experience with interior systems is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, contracts, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and adapting to new software and systems.

Why Consider This Opportunity

  • Senior leadership role with real influence in a growing, respected organization.
  • Competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and retirement plans.
  • Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Collaborative, values-driven culture
