A growing and fast-paced production facility in Prince Edward Island is seeking motivated and dependable Harvesters to join their team. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative production environment focused on quality, efficiency, and teamwork. This position is being offered as a full-time contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and clean trimming machines and related equipment
- Perform hand-trimming and plant processing tasks as required
- Maintain product quality by identifying and handling defects appropriately
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitation duties
- Keep workspaces clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
- Assist Plant Technicians and Team Leads with overall plant care as needed
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health & safety guidelines
- Support a positive and team-oriented work environment
Work Environment
This position works within both greenhouse and harvest processing environments, including:
- Loud machinery and production equipment
- Cool processing areas (approximately 17°C)
- Greenhouse conditions with high heat and humidity (30+°C / 55%+ humidity)
- Exposure to strong plant aromas and cleaning products
- Bright LED lighting and physically active work conditions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and safely within a team setting
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Agriculture, horticulture, greenhouse, production, or manufacturing experience considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Criminal record check required following offer of employment
