A well-established and reputable heavy equipment dealership in Atlantic Canada is seeking a Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team. This opportunity includes both in-shop and field service work, supporting a wide range of construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and cooling systems
- Service and repair a diverse fleet of construction equipment
- Conduct equipment testing to ensure proper performance post-repair
- Complete detailed service documentation and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding job status
- Perform field service work in a professional and timely manner
- Utilize technical manuals and systems to identify and order parts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Work overtime as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
- Experience in a dealership environment considered an asset
- Solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Valid driver’s license and passport required
- High school diploma or equivalent
