Outside Parts & Service Sales Representative

Position Overview:

Reporting to the General Parts Manager and Branch Manager, the Outside Parts & Service Sales Representative is tasked with driving sales and service growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Equipment Sales Team to share and pursue potential leads.
  • Engage with prospective clients through calls, emails, and on-site visits to foster relationships and secure sales.
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and promote services.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman to coordinate equipment servicing and troubleshoot issues.
  • Diagnose equipment problems and recommend appropriate services or repairs.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Continuously enhance product and service knowledge.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with relevant experience, or post-secondary education in office administration or a related field.
  • Industry experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer use.
  • Availability to work over 40 hours per week as needed.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.
