Summary:

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing machinery and equipment. Requires strong mechanical systems knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Install, align, and dismantle machinery and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance for equipment longevity.
• Collaborate to improve maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in training junior maintenance staff.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of Mechanic/Millwright experience; experience in large-scale manufacturing/processing is a plus.
• Certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship required.
• Journeyman Millwright Certification.
• Excellent knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to follow procedures, read instructions, and blueprints.
• Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical strength and stamina; able to lift, pull, push up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
• Independent working ability and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, flexible hours, weekends, overtime, and be on-call during emergencies.
