Night Shift Foreman - Truck & Transport Technician (Red Seal)

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Evening Shift Foreman to lead our busy service shop. This role is ideal for a licensed Red Seal Truck & Transport Technician who has proven supervisory experience and enjoys mentoring others in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring evening operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Red Seal and Apprentice Technicians on the evening shift.
  • Assign repair tasks based on technician skillsets and shop priorities.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and mentorship to the team.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer requirements.
  • Oversee quality control, workflow tracking, and documentation accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Management to support scheduling and customer needs.
  • Maintain shop organization, enforce safety practices, and promote a clean, respectful work environment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Red Seal Truck & Transport Technician certification.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on truck & trailer service experience; prior supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team in a high-volume shop environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and high-quality service standards.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
