Director of Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring all members understand their roles, meet performance expectations, and work safely and efficiently. Address any performance gaps promptly.
  • Apply values-based leadership to engage and empower employees, aligning their efforts with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, monitor performance, analyze variances, and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Prepare, present, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, an Promote core values of humility, trust, and pride in work
  • Evaluate and improve financial policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Identify and communicate critical financial trends to leadership.
  • Advise executive management on financial implications of business activities.
  • Manage cash flow, receivables, payables, and working capital.
  • Provide timely financial analysis to external stakeholders as needed.
  • Analyze market trends for growth opportunities and risk mitigation.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, including capital projects and acquisitions.
  • Foster continuous improvement within the finance team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a senior financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and business technology tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, financial management platforms).
