Job Description:

  • Work closely with the company’s management, team members and help out with labour relations with our Workers bargaining unit.
  • Help to implement our comprehensive HR programs/initiatives while supporting effective employee attendance management for our company.
  • We would prefer that you have a strong working knowledge of temporary foreign worker programs and AIPP.
  • Help to administer weekly payroll using ADP/WFN.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce or Business Administration, and ideally a CPHR designation or are in the process of completing it.
  • Canadian Payroll Certification (PCP/CPM) would also be an asset.
  • Human Resources: 2 years (preferred)
  • Grace under pressure.
  • Relate well with people from all different backgrounds and have empathy for their issues and help them to find solutions.
  • Strong desire to succeed and learn new things.
  • Apply knowledge to help achieve both company goals and your own goals.
  • Strong organizational behaviour, work and life experiences and professional training continue to help you succeed.
